East Lancashire Newspapers is looking for the Face of 2005. Are you model material or do you know someone who is? If the answer is yes then we want to hear from you today. The Face is our exclusive modelling competition open to both male and females over the age of sixteen. We have some fantastic prizes up for grabs including a photoshoot from Dimples & Eden Clayre Casting and Model agency, plus the chance to be signed for a year's representation. Our female winner will also receive £500 of clothing vouchers from Seasons of Clitheroe and our male winner will receive £500 of clothing vouchers from Hype of Clitheroe. In addition our two winners will each receive a mobile telephone to the value of £150 each from Phone Works of Clitheroe.
All entrants will appear in this newspaper on September 9th when you will have the opportunity to vote for the Face of 2005. The five male and five females who receive the most votes from our readers will be automatically entered into our grand final fashion show, which will take place on Wednesday, Cctober 5th at Burnley Mechanics. Another five male and five female finalists will be selected by Dimples & Eden Clayre Model agency to go through.
All twenty finalists will be announced in paper on September 23rd.
The Grand Final promises to be an exciting event with entertainment from Sanderson's- Dance/Fitness of Nelson plus a fashion show, with all our finalists faking part. Seasons and Hype of Clitheroe will be providing the clothes for all our finalists for the event. Toni & Guy Burnley will be on hand to style our finalists' hair and one male and one female will be selected as the Face of East Lancashire 2005.
Entry for the competition is FREE!
Photographs are being taken at Paradise Island, Bull Street, Burnley tomorrow from 10pm and Saturday at Calamity Janes on Hammerton Street, Burnley from 10pm. Alternatively you may send in your own photograph along with your name and contact details to The Face, East Lancashire Newspapers, Bull Street, Burnley BB11 1DP, before the closing date of August 30th. Entry forms are available from our town centre offices in Burnley, Nelson and Clitheroe. Seasons of Clitheroe. Hype of Clitheroe, Phone Works of Clitheroe, Toni & Guy Burnley, Sanderson's Dance/Fitness Studio Nelson will all have entry forms available from today.
