Customised solutions for quality products

like pulmonary respirators. Camozzi is one of the leading manufacturers of solenoid valves with a wide range of products.

■ Proportional solenoid valves, which can be used where a flow or pressure control is required. A cartridge or manifold design makes them particularly compact, therefore, they can be mounted directly near the workstation.

■ Pressure regulators have been designed to be used for all applications and equipment, where a single component in customised integrated pneumatic circuits (manifolds) or collectors needs to be inserted. The compact size allows the regulator to be plugged into a proper seat, making the installation easier and reducing the assembly time.

Camozzi provides high-performance, customised solutions for the control of fluids – both liquid and gases.

Devices and machines used in the medical and analytical sector require lightweight and compact components with low- energy consumption. Camozzi manufactures components that satisfy the requirements of life sciences in terms of both material compatibility and specific legislation, such as dental and anesthesia equipment, ventilators, dialysis equipment, oxygen therapy, hospital sterilisers, surgery equipment, and more. The Camozzi portfolio includes a complete offering of components: ■ Miniaturised solenoid valves with low-power consumption along with fluid isolation, which are suitable for use in portable and pocket devices,

Camozzi develops quality products and solutions in close cooperation with its customers throughout the world, and in accordance with local regulations and standards. These solutions for the control of liquid and gaseous fluids combine miniaturised solenoid valves and other high-performance components with a functional design that completely satisfies the most demanding customer needs.

accurate control pressure in the process. The Cordis has many features, such as: ■ smooth linear control ■ integrated internal or external sensor feedback

■ static or dynamic

Precise, linear pressure control within a closed-loop system with ultra-high resolution and repeatability.

its heart, the Cordis is designed to outperform the competition in every way. With unparalleled performance and flexibility not possible with current analogue proportional controllers, the Cordis makes everything from calibration to sensor variety acceptance, to future development opportunities more accessible and less complicated. The future of proportional pressure control has arrived and it’s digital.

Known for reliability, innovation and focus on miniature pneumatics, the Cordis electronic pressure controls (EPC) utilise the proven M-EVP and M-DVP lines of proportional valves, allowing for steady, repeatable downstream pressure as demand or processes change. The result: a precise linear pressure control within a closed- loop system with ultra-high resolution and repeatability. The Cordis uses a microcontroller, integrated pressure sensor, and two Clippard proportional valves. The inlet valve is connected to the moderately regulated supply pressure and the exhaust valve is connected to a port that vents excess pressure to the atmosphere. Once a command is increased, the inlet valve opens up to allow supply pressure to pass over the sensor element, which provides active feedback for the microcontroller to satisfy the set point in the process. If at any point the sensor detects a value higher than the set point, the exhaust valve will modulate open to vent off the excess pressure to maintain a stable and

■ proportional fill and bleed control

■ no integral bleed required.

The Cordis is adaptable to a variety of sensors that can close the loop around not only pressure, but vacuum or flow.
