Conversations surrounding international relations, diplomacy and Ukraine resonated throughout Queens University’s McInnes Parlors following a speech given by Ambassador of Poland to the U.S. Marek Magierowski. The visit was part of the ambassador’s multi-day tour of North Carolina that included meetings with City of Charlote officials and North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper.

and member of the men’s swimming team from Germany, was instrumental in organizing the ambassador’s visit. He partnered with various groups across campus as well as Klaus Becker, chairman of The N.C. Zeitgeist Foundation, which sponsored the event. As the program concluded, many Royals were able to
shake hands with Ambassador Magierowski, thanking him for his message to the community and wishing him well.

Deepak Chopra Visits Queens for Sold-Out Event
A crowd packed the Sandra Levine Theatre at Queens to spend an enlightening evening with Dr. Deepak Chopra. Among other topics, Chopra discussed the importance
of embracing the “7 pillars of well-being,” which include good sleep habits, whole foods and plant-based nutrition, introducing movement and yoga into daily life, and increasing self-awareness and realization. Chopra also participated in an intimate student-led
discussion where he shared personal anecdotes, interesting glimpses into the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and medicine, as well as how students can change their perception of situations to foster happiness. The visit was made possible by Queens University’s
