IIMS announces important
administration change for members
Mike Schwarz, IIMS CEO, has released the following statement. "The 2025 membership fee invoices were emailed to members during November. I thank you for your continued support. If you have not seen your membership invoice yet please check your spam folder just in case. These days we have migrated to a fully automated process that we have perfected. As soon as you have paid your invoice for the coming year using our secure online servers, the software system will immediately send you a payment receipt. If you stored last year's
membership card in your digital wallet, there is nothing further to do and your card will automatically be updated with the new date within 24 hours. But I am aware that a few people still choose to pay head office manually and some pay to a local branch. If you pay that way, your card will be held until payment confirmation is received.
"I know from discussions with many members that in certain parts of the world, a physical plastic card is still required to gain access to ports and marinas. If you need one, please let my colleagues know and we will send you one at no charge. If you have any problems following this automation, please email my colleagues at IIMS HQ at
membershipsupport@iims.org.uk and we will be pleased to assist you."
