Instruction will focus on fundamentals and good sportsmanship. Team and group competition, individual contests, and daily prizes will also be featured. All campers will receive a t-shirt. CHILD AND BABYSITTING SAFETY (CABS) FROM THE AMERICAN


SAFETY AND HEALTH INSTITUTE, ASHI (AGES: 10 - 16) Fee $45 ($50NR) This class is not just “watching“ children, it is about being responsible for a child’s safety and well-being. The class will introduce the skills necessary to care for infants and children and help build confidence in creating your own babysitting business. Participants will learn safety in the home, handwashing, diapering, feeding infants and children, as well as an introduction to first aid and CPR. Students will receive a certification card valid for two (2) years, and a workbook. This class is great for those boys and girls interested in babysitting or for those already babysitting who want to enhance their skills. Bring a sack lunch/water as needed.
