CITY COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE Avondale City Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of the month at 7 pm. City Council work sessions are held as needed on the second Monday of the month at 6 pm. Meetings and work sessions are held in the City Council Chambers.
PLANNING COMMISSION Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 7 pm at City Hall.

n osprey is just one of the many wonderful birds that call the Base & Meridian Wildlife area of Avondale, its home. This area is also called the Tres Rios.
The Tres Rios habitat draws nature lovers from all over in celebration of the Tres Rios Nature Festival. The annual event is hosted on the first weekend in March. Read more in the Uniquely Avondale section, pages 16 - 17, to learn about this nature oasis in Avondale.
