SEPARATE YOUR


“GREEN WASTE”


Green waste such as brush, tree limbs and yard trimmings, are collected separately during the routine monthly bulk trash pickup schedule. Call the Avondale Sanitation Division with questions regarding your bulk or green waste pickup, (623) 333-4400.


✓ Monthly bulk trash service: separate your green organic material from your non-organic material


✓ Bulk materials and green organic materials are picked up by separate crews ✓ Items not included with the green waste program: Cactus and Palm Fronds ✓ Make neat piles that are 4 ft in length or less


✓ Cut tree trimmings to 4 ft (or smaller) lengths. Stumps and tree trunks must be 6 inches in diameter or less.


✓ Bag/box all grass and leaves; they will be part of regular bulk


✓ The 3 cubic yard limit per household is for both bulk/green waste piles combined.
