AED, CPR AND FIRST AID, FROM THE AMERICAN SAFETY AND HEALTH INSTITUTE (AGES: 16 +) Fee $45 ($50NR) This class provides Automated External Defibrilla- tor (AED), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid certi- fication and is consistent with the 2015 American Heart Association, American Red Cross Guidelines and OSHA’s Best Practice Guide: Fundamentals of a Workplace. Upon successful class completion of the written exam and hands-on demonstration, the participant will receive a two (2) year certification card for Adult, Child, Infant CPR, AED & First Aid. MID-WEEK ACRYLIC PAINTING GROUP (AGES: 18+) Fee $50 ($55NR) This is a fun two-class session in which you get to laugh, learn, and have fun in a social atmosphere. You’ll learn step- by-step how to paint still life scenery. In addition, you’ll learn the basics of color painting, mixing and blending colors, and transfer- ring images from photos or prints to your canvas paper. By the end of the evening you will have your very own masterpiece. All sup- plies are provided. Seating is limited to 30 participants.

HIKERS ON MOUNTAINTOPS (18+) FREE Join the City of Avondale as we take it outside and explore the beauty of Arizona while meeting new people, working out and seeking adventure. Be empowered to work together to accomplish hikes that vary from easy to moderate.
All hikers will meet at the trail designated for that day at 8 am.
