Active Parenting: The First Five Years
Your child’s first few years are so important! Learn how to make the most of them with Active Parenting: First Five Years, a four-week program for parents and caregivers of children from birth to 5 years old. Help your children start strong with skills that emphasize bonding, encouragement, and a “just right” combination of freedom and positive discipline.

Financial Education Workshop Preparing for Taxes
Participants will learn the basics of how taxes are computed, the difference between deductions, exemptions and tax credits, and how to prepare to file their tax return.
Celebration of Reading Thursday, March 14 | 10 - 11:30 am
In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2nd and National Reading Awareness Month, we will be hosting our annual Celebration of Reading event. The event is designed to encourage young children and families to read at least 20 minutes every day. Every child, age 0 to 5, will leave with a FREE book! Guest readers and crafts, too!
Raising A Reader Wednesday, Starting January 16 | 10 am - 12 pm
Free, 8-week early literacy program designed to educate parents and caregivers of children from birth to age 5 about the importance of early literacy and how to build literacy skills in their young children in order to help them enter school ready to learn. This is an interactive, parent/caregiver and child program.
Taking Turns Toybrary
Toybrary is similar to traditional book- lending libraries, allowing families to borrow fun, functional and educational items for 2 weeks at a time.
Available every day during Resource Center hours
