Join the Class of 2019 Avondale Citizen Leadership Academy


Find out what it takes to run a city in this 10-week interactive, behind the scenes program on city government.


Classes will be held Wednesday evenings, with three Saturday field trips, starting in late February. Eligibility: Avondale residents, at least eighteen years old. Limited to 20 residents each year. Register at www.avondaleaz.gov/citizenacademy


Join the 2020 Census Team


The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting thousands of people across the country to assist with the 2020 Census count. Regional and local offices are hiring a variety of temporary jobs, including census takers, recruiting assistants, office staff, and supervisory staff.


Eligibility: At least eighteen years old, have a valid Social Security number, and be a U.S. citizen.
