Do you remember when the Baby Boomers were the up-and-coming generation? They were going to change the world, and they did. They’ve been the driving force behind some of the biggest changes and advances our country has seen. There's no doubt that the Baby Boomer generation has been one of the most influential in American history. But now they're getting older, and they need our help. That's why the senior living workforce is so important. For more than two years, we have been barraged by the term “The


Great Resignation.” You’ve heard it on the news, in videos, over podcasts, and have read about it in print media. The bottom line is that The Great Resignation has changed the workplace for good. And the senior living industry has felt it, especially during the last three years. The Great Resignation is the term that was coined to describe the


historical quit rate that happened within the job market as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the blink of an eye, employers were faced with having to shift to provide for remote workers, shut down in-person offices, and find ways to maintain employee engagement, and as a result, millions of jobs remain unfilled.
