Florida Senior Living Asso- ciation (FSLA) has named three new professional staff to its team. Jason M. Hand, Esq., vice president of public policy and legal aff airs, will be responsible for managing the legisla- tive, regulatory, and poli- cy activities of FSLA on behalf of its members. Hand brings 20 years of experience with the cre- ation and implementa- tion of state policy. Lee Ann Griffin, director of regulation and education, has 18 years of experi- ence focused on rules and regulations for nursing homes and senior cen- ters. Heather Conley joins


the team as director of marketing and mem- bership and brings more than 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, and training.


VERONICA YESTRUMSKAS


Veronica Yestrumskas, ex- ecutive director at Harbor- Chase of Coral Springs, was awarded Executive Director of the Year by the FSLA. She was recog- nized for her motivation,


relationship skills, and leadership, such as that exhibited during Hurricane Irma, where she worked helping residents throughout the event. HarborChase is part of Harbor Retire- ment Associates, of Vero Beach, Fla.


CHRIS EGAN


Kansas City, Mo.-based GlynnDevins has named Chris Egan as the compa- ny’s new president and CEO. Egan will also join the company’s Board. Egan joins GlynnDevins


after serving as president and COO at Ser- vice Management Group. He has also led strategic initiatives at Boston Consulting Group, Intel, and IBM. In addition, Glynn- Devins at the end of September acquired Murdock, an Oklahoma City-based senior living-focused sales consulting company.


Integral Senior Living, based in Carlsbad, Calif., announced new promotions within its leadership team. Jeff ery Smith has been pro- moted to senior vice president of sales and marketing; Allison Singler has been promoted to regional vice president of sales and mar- keting; Cathy Battles has been promoted to regional vice president of human resources; and Erin Rohrbacher has been promoted to senior regional human resources director.


Irvine, Calif.-based HCP, Inc., has changed its name to Healthpeak Properties, Inc., with the PEAK ticker symbol on the New York Stock Exchange. It also announced several leader- ship promotions: Scott Brinker, in addition to his role as CIO, will be promoted to president. He will assume full operational oversight of Healthpeak’s business segments. Jeff Miller has been promoted to executive vice presi- dent, senior housing, responsible for oversight and execution of the senior housing segment, including advancing operational excellence. Lisa Alonso has been promoted to executive vice president and chief human resources of- fi cer. Barbat Rodgers has been promoted to senior director, and Andrew Johns will head the fi nancial planning and analysis team.


Life Care Services, LLC, based in Des Moines, Iowa, ranked highest in customer satisfaction in the J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Se- nior Living Study. Life Care Services scored 843 on a 1,000-point scale, a full 49 index points above the second-highest performing senior living organization. J.D. Power, based in Westlake Village, Calif., determines the score through examining industry-level per- formance metrics of senior living providers and highlighting the best practices that are critical to customer satisfaction, advocacy, and loyalty, providing an independent and objective measure of the overall satisfaction levels among U.S. customers.


Minneapolis-based MatrixCare has named Steve Pacicco as president and CEO. With more than 25 years of experience in health- care and healthcare technology, he most re- cently served as vice president of portfolio strategy and corporate development for the ResMed SaaS business. He came to ResMed through its acquisition of MatrixCare, where he was executive vice president of corporate

development and operations. Prior to Ma- trixCare, Pacicco served as CEO of Sig- maCare, which was acquired by MatrixCare in 2017, from its founding in 2006, leading the business through substantial growth and expansion. Prior to SigmaCare, he served in various executive capacities with Amicore and Pfi zer. Pacicco holds an MBA with hon- ors from Columbia University.

MBK Senior Living, based in Irvine, Calif., has named Kristen Curran-Brookham regional director of sales, overseeing sales and mar- keting eff orts of the com- pany's nine Colorado and Utah communities. Cur-


ran-Brookham started in clinical nursing and went on to hold roles of executive director, regional director of sales and marketing, re- gional director of resident care, and director of resident programming.


TANA GALL


Seattle-based Merrill Gar- dens has named Tana Gall president of the company. Gall was CEO at Blue Harbor, a 21-community senior living manage- ment company based in


Portland, Ore., and owned by Fortress In- vestment Group of New York. In addition, Merrill Gardens has acquired Blue Harbor, nearly doubling the size of its communities. Gall was Merrill Gardens president from 2013 to 2015, when she successfully led the company through a major divestiture of a large group of communities and imple- mented the rollout of major technology and operating platforms. She also spent 19 years at Seattle-based Leisure Care Senior Living, rising to the rank of president. Previous president David Eskenazy announced his retirement last month.


Murfreesboro, Tenn.-based National Health Investors, Inc. (NHI) has appointed John L. Spaid chief financial officer. Previous- ly, he was NHI executive vice president of fi nance, and before that, he provided con- sulting services to NHI. Prior to that, he was with Emeritus Senior Living as senior vice president of fi nancial planning and analysis.
