Gill Hall said: “It is even more special after the painful period we have had following the fire. This follows a special visit from King Charles earlier in the year and is the icing on the cake.”

Since launching in 2011, the Red Rose Awards has grown into one of the highlights of the county’s business calendar.

In total, 25 awards were handed out on the evening, recognising achievements including customer service and community impact.

This year also saw the introduction of new categories: AI and Tech Innovation, Creative and Deal of the Year.

Joanne Hindley, sales director of Lancashire Business View, said: “The Red Rose Awards always bring out the very best of the county, and this year was no exception.

“What stands out for me is how supportive and collaborative Lancashire businesses are. The winners we’ve celebrated aren’t just delivering strong results themselves – they’re

also helping others to succeed.” Meanwhile, £5,965 was raised on the evening for charity partner Lancashire and South Cumbria Hospices Together, which relies on business and community support to help fund hospice care across both counties.

Pauline Wild, managing partner at joint headline sponsors Forbes Solicitors, said: “The Red Rose Awards celebrates what Lancashire business does best.

“The county continues to be a place where we

get on with things and move forward despite the challenges we face.”

Paul Nicholls, relationship director at joint headline sponsors Barclays, added: “The Red Rose Awards celebrates the best of Lancashire, and for me it is the way business is done here that sets it apart.

“We do it with passion, persistence and determination, continuing to push forward while showing a clear commitment to people, community and the environment.”
