FINDING THE BEST

The finalists for the Burnley Business Awards 2026 have been announced.

Staged by Burnley Council, 150 businesses took part in this year’s process.

Lukman Patel, chief executive at Burnley Council, said: “It was a tough job for the judges

to whittle the entrants down to the finalists. I’d like to thank Burnley businesses for their commitment to raising the prosperity of the borough and we look forward to celebrating with them.

VEKA, which is celebrating 40 years in Burnley, is the headline sponsor and 600 are expected to attend the event at the restored Towneley Hall in July.

Joanne Hindley, sales director of Lancashire Business View, was among the independent judges.

The full list of finalists can be viewed at lancashirebusinessview.co.uk

Zone, said: “The Blackburn Beer and Gin Festival is a real celebration of our community coming together to support young people across Blackburn and Darwen.

“Events like this play a vital role in helping us keep our doors open and our services accessible to thousands of young people.

“We’re incredibly grateful to our headline sponsors – Farleys, Cubefunder, Mortimers and CoolKit – whose continued support and hands-on involvement helped make the event such a success.”
