EXP is a brand and digital consultancy based in Lancaster. Since 2013, we’ve combined strategy, design, and development to create award-winning brands and websites for clients. We work with exciting and innovative start-ups looking to establish a brand, and much-loved businesses looking for a refresh. Whatever the sector, we love to work with clients who want to question the norm, solve a challenge, and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Lancaster University Our recent achievements and plans for the future
We’ve been fortunate to work on some exciting projects recently – developing and launching a brand campaign in Milan for James Cropper to promote their latest paper and packaging range, and closer to home, entering our fourth year of working with Lancaster University to design their undergraduate and postgraduate prospectuses sent around the world. We’ve also designed and built bespoke websites for Ecoveritas and Connect 2 Cleanrooms. We’re continuing to expand the team – looking for strategists, designers, and developers to join EXP.

Lancaster is a great place to do business. We may be a small city, but it’s great to have the blend of history and innovation on the doorstep with iconic landmarks and a world-class University. About us
Lancaster & Morecambe College (LMC), was established on its current site in the 1950s, and traces its roots back to the Lancaster Mechanics Institute of 1824. The college provides technical vocational courses, including T Levels and apprenticeships, designed to equip learners with practical skills for the workforce. Businesses can access bespoke training packages tailored to industry needs, ensuring employees gain relevant qualifications.
Our recent achievements and plans for the future
The college celebrated 200 years of further education in the district in 2024. In February 2025, it celebrated their latest Ofsted inspection which graded the college as GOOD across all areas, and commended the strong contribution LMC makes to meeting skills needs. The college has expanded in many curriculum areas, with a focus on level 3 qualifications, including the development of T levels within business and project management, engineering, early years education and health.

About us
Richard P Taylor Chartered Surveyors is an RICS Regulated firm offering commercial & residential property advice. We act for both private and public sector clients alike and offer main stream services of commercial property Agency, Property Management, Lease Renewals & Rent Reviews, as well as Consultancy. The firm undertakes both commercial & residential valuations and can deliver work nationally but has specialist insight throughout the Lancaster & Morecambe district and South Lakes.
Our recent achievements and plans for the future
Sustainable changes we made during 2023 meant the team has grown, as result we delivered excess of 570 valuations in 2024; we also assisted in the recovery of more than £400,000 of incorrectly paid service charges; for 2025 our projection is to add two members of staff to our Lancaster office and launch our property panel valuation services.

Our community – business contacts and residents have a friendly approach and outlook, everyone has a revived confidence and vibrance to get stuff done now that Eden Project North and Canal Quarter are making physical progress! The area – we live in has the world’s best view of the Lake District National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and has immediate access to the Yorkshire Dales National Park; Lancaster has a mainline station and is less than 1hr 20mins from Manchester & Manchester International Airport! Asset values – double digit yields!
