acted as a catalyst for the birth of what the team have dubbed ‘CoolKit 2.0’. They relocated to a new world-class manufacturing facility with no job losses in September 2023 and since then, the business hasn’t just recovered, its transformed and thrived.
Investments have been made into state- of-the-art CNC machines, and industry 4.0 technologies that meant that it could maximise operations and up production scales within its new factory, leading to CoolKit securing new contracts with some of the UK’s leading names in food, pharmaceuticals, and environmental sampling.
Since the start of 2024, CoolKit has upped its headcount by over 25 per cent to support its transformative growth strategy and ensure that the team continue to build on the fantastic work that has been done over recent years. This includes some significant new hires by the senior leadership team into newly created management positions that reflect the scale of the business today, such as Head of People and Health, Safety, Environmental and Facilities Manager. Winning awards like this one has helped make CoolKit standout as a regional employer.
Boosted by the platform of winning the Transformation Award, CoolKit is now on track to announce another record year.
The Transformation Award meant a lot to the entire CoolKit workforce not only in recognition of what’s happened but as a reminder of the shared resilience and just what can be achieved together.
