THE BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP CLUB THAT SUPPORTS YOUR COMMUNITY
A new membership scheme has launched which offers a wealth of business benefits and uses the fee to fund community outreach programmes.
CBP Members has been created by multi- award-winning Community & Business Partners, a not-for-profit organisation that has supported businesses across Lancashire for more than 30 years and which also supports local communities through their four areas of impact: business, community, environment and skills.
For just £50 per month, members gain access to business support delivered by a team of more than 200 successful
entrepreneurs in possession of a wide range of specialisms, as well as generous discounts on events, services and room hire.
Better still, that fee helps to fund projects which support recycling, care for local families and raise the skills and aspirations of young people.
Jaydee Davis, operations director of Community & Business Partners, explained: “As a not-for-profit we constantly reinvest, making an impact on business, community, the environment and skills. When people become a member, they’re not just helping their business, but they’re directly impacting their local community, too.”
HOW WE HELP YOUR BUSINESS
Your £50 monthly membership gives you access to higher-level business expertise and unlocks huge discounts.
You’ll get half-price access to direct business support delivered by specialists in marketing, business strategy, sales, HR, quality and operations.
You’ll also benefit from up to 50 per cent off our training and events, and 10 per cent off our room hire.
You’ll gain access to our Bitesize Bootcamp monthly online sessions where you’ll be able to tap into the insight and experiences of businesses just like yours enabling you to solve problems, test new ideas and learn best practices.
What’s more, we’ll keep you up to date on the community initiatives you’re helping to support and we’ll provide logos and badges that you can use in your CSR marketing.
HOW YOU CAN HELP THE COMMUNITY
Your monthly membership fee is invested into various community outreach programmes.
For example, each month we collect the equivalent of 885 meals from supermarkets and distribute 120 family food boxes to local residents.
Our SAMS (Scrap Art Material Store) takes donations of art, craft and play items from public and private organisations, handing them out to more than 2,000 young people. This also reduces the volume of waste sent to landfill by more than 50 businesses.
We also upskill individuals, improving their aspirations and employability while reducing mental health issues and isolation.
In total, we provide more than 1,700 community volunteer hours per year, and last year won the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the Red Rose Awards.
FOUNDING MEMBERS
“Since launching our membership club in May we have received a fantastic response from the Lancashire business community,” said Jaydee.
“The calibre of our ten founding members alone makes joining our CBP Members programme an opportunity not to be missed for any Lancashire organisation.”
