the Lancashire business community, delivering a special evening of food, drink, music and entertainment.

The event was hosted by BBC broadcaster Graham Liver, who introduced representatives from the headline sponsors: Pauline Rigby, managing partner at Forbes Solicitors and Paul Nicholls, relationship director at Barclays, to the stage at the start of the evening.

Richard Slater, Lancashire Business View publisher and organiser of the Red Rose Awards, said: “It was another fantastic night celebrating a host of incredible businesses. Not just the winners, but every company that made the shortlist was worthy of recognition from their peers.

“There was no shortage of good stories to tell. In fact, the adversity that many faced through the pandemic makes these success stories all the more impressive. A huge congratulations to everybody nominated, and especially those who triumphed.”

Guests were greeted by music from Lancashire’s steel drum band Pancake and the entertainment continued with circus acts and dancers from MH production on the awards runway.

The evening featured fine food, sourced from Lancashire suppliers, and presented by catering experts Campbell and Rowley.

And the celebrations drew to a close at an afterparty featuring live music from the Deatbeats, followed by a DJ set, a midnight feast by Campbell and Rowley, and fun activities orchestrated by Preston’s The Fun Experts.

Throughout the evening the audience donated generously to this year’s event charity partner the Community Foundation for Lancashire.

All the funds raised will go towards their Red Rose Responding Fund, which supports health and wellbeing of people across the county.

SAVE THE DATE!

Red Rose Awards 2023 will take place on March 9, 2023 – entries open in October.
