Expert View SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSES

BUILT ON TALENT by Morag Davis

Assistant principal for technical education, Nelson and Colne College Group

Huge congratulations go out to all the businesses who feature in this prestigious Hot 100 list.

It is indicative of just how many excellent and resilient SME businesses we have in our region.

The Nelson and Colne College Group is proud to be playing its part in supporting businesses across the region to develop the skills they need.

In doing so, we are helping these businesses grow talent from within and making their businesses thrive.

We work closely with employers to develop new skills and innovate within our facilities to ensure we offer a diverse training mix to meet each business’ bespoke needs.

A recent development is our 360 Lab, a virtual reality hub which supports businesses to bring large scale, often difficult to access training to life within a virtual world.

We recognise that recruitment of fresh talent is right now a challenge for businesses across all sectors.
