warm welcome in a clean environment, whether you are operating the Fox and Hounds at Ewood or any of the other great pubs in our network. Focus on what you are good at”
Amanda called for businesses in Lancashire to shout from the rooftops and enter Kings Awards and other honours.
She said: “Lancashire people are modest and we have a huge amount to shout about. I see fabulous businesses when I look around this room and the Kings Awards for Enterprise is about celebrating excellence locally or internationally.
“We are going to be running some workshops with the chamber of commerce to help people interested to go for it.”
Colin shared two pieces of advice for the audience: “Treat everybody as you would like to be treated and, if you are involved in a product, design is everything.”
