Inoxyda new acquired company of LBI – Les Bronze Industry France


With the completion of the buying proces of the French company Inoxyda S.A. LBI (350 employees, € 50 million revenue) extends its potential in the field of non-ferrous casting. For intermediate Formaco forgings & castings a favourable development. “As a result, we are already expanding the supply package of specialist voluminous non-ferrous castings for the offshore, shipbuilding and oil and gas industry in the Benelux and U.K. Expanded further,” said Hans ten Hoove from importer and intermediary Formaco forgings & castings.


He continues: “With non-ferrous foundry LBI and their daughter SRI – Saint Remy Industry – France we have been doing intensive business for a long time. Besides specialized hollow centrifugal castings, they also supplied products in bronze, aluminium bronze and copper. With the acquisition of Inoxyda, our delivery package is even more complete with both smaller and voluminous products up to 30 tonnes such as: valves (houses and valves), pump houses and turbines, ship screws and hubs, heat exchangers and capacitors, all in non-ferrous metals.”


Inoxyda S.A. This company was founded in 1924 and now operational with 50 employees. Foundry Inoxyda has been given a new stimulus for further development through the incorpora- tion of LBI-France. There have been quite a


few investments recently: all melting furnaces have been renewed and investments have been made in a new break-out machine (a vibrating machine for casting). For the monitoring of the solidification process, use is made of the soſtware package Magma Soſt. There are also interesting developments for the future: a 3D printing machine for printing sand shapes. This can be saved on a wooden model and can be poured straight away; Very suitable for single-piece manufacturing and prototyping with very short delivery times. Inoxyda is a West European oriented company. Certified base material is purchased exclusively in Western Europe and sales are predominantly (for 60%) in Europe. The company is extensively certified with known certifications by: LR, DNV, TUV, GL, ABS, BV, RINA and DCNS.

Met de inlijving van het Franse bedrijf Inoxyda S.A. breidt LBI (350 medewerkers, € 50 miljoen omzet) haar mogelijkheden op het gebied van non-ferro gietwerk aanzien- lijk uit. Voor intermediair Formaco forgings & castings een gunstige ontwikkeling. “Hiermede wordt ons toch al uitgebreide leveringspakket van specialistische volumineuze non-ferro gietstukken ten behoeve van de offshore, scheepsbouw en olie- en gasindustrie in de Benelux en U.K. weer verder uitgebreid”, aldus Hans ten Hoove van importeur en intermediair Formaco forgings & castings.


Hij vervolgt: “Met non-ferro gieterij LBI en hun dochter SRI – Saint Remy Industrie – France deden wij al langer intensief zaken. Zij leverden ons, naast specialistische holle centrifugaal gegoten volumineuze gietstukken, ook giet- producten in loodbrons, aluminiumbrons en koper. Met de overname van Inoxyda is ons leverings- pakket nog verder gecompleteerd met zowel kleinere, alsook volumineuze producten tot wel 30 ton zoals: afsluiters (huizen en kleppen), pomphuizen en turbines, scheepsschroeven en naafhuizen, warmtewisselaars en condensatoren, alles in non-ferro”.

Inoxyda S.A. De in 1924 opgerichte en het momenteel financieel kerngezonde met 50 medewerkers tellende gieterij Inoxyda heeſt door de inlijving van LBI – France een nieuwe impuls gekregen voor verdere ontwikkeling. Er zijn recentelijk al behoorlijk wat investeringen geweest: alle smeltovens zijn vernieuwd en er is geïnvesteerd in een nieuwe uitbreekmachine (een soort


trilmachine voor het uitbreken van het gietwerk). Voor het monitoren van het stollingsproces wordt gebruik gemaakt van het soſtwarepakket Magma Soſt. Ook voor de toekomst zijn er interessante ontwikkelingen: een 3D-printmachine voor het printen van zandvormen. Hiermee kan er bespaard worden op het maken van een houten model en kan er direct gegoten worden; zeer geschikt voor enkelstuks-fabricage en prototyping met zeer korte levertijden. Inoxyda is een West Europees georiënteerd bedrijf. Gecertificeerd basismateriaal wordt uitsluitend in West Europa gekocht en ook de afzet is voornamelijk (voor 60%) in Europa. Het bedrijf is uitgebreid gecertificeerd met bekende certificeringen door: LR, DNV, TUV, GL, ABS, BV, Rina en DCNS.
