Guinness Storehouse DUBLIN, IRELAND
The Guinness Storehouse, named World’s Leading Tourist Attraction 2023 at the World Travel Awards, gives Guinness-lovers the chance to experience the history, heart, and soul of Ireland’s most iconic beer. A visit to the Home of Guinness includes a behind-the-scenes look at the craft of brewing a perfect pint of the Black Stuff, an exhibition and cinema dedicated to vintage Guinness advertising, and the chance to enjoy a pint in the Gravity Bar with Dublin’s best view. The Guinness Storehouse tells the story of one
of Ireland’s best-loved brands. Discover what goes into making each pint, learn about the brand’s incredible history stretching over 265 years and its iconic advertising, as well as a tasting like no other. The experience unfolds across seven floors, including what’s a highlight for many — the famous Gravity Bar, where visitors can enjoy unparalleled panoramic 360-degree views of Dublin. On top of the standard experience, guests can also enjoy the Guinness Academy Experience, the STOUTie Experience, the Connoisseur Experience and the new Guinness Brewery Experience.
Housed at St James’s Gate in the heart of
Dublin’s Liberties, the seven floors of the Guinness Storehouse were built through a €42m (£35m) redevelopment of a 113-year-old former Guinness fermentation plant. Since 2000, the Guinness Storehouse has been enhanced, developing its experience to exceed consumers’ expectations. The Guinness Storehouse recently launched the
Guinness Brewery Experience, a journey through the working brewery that’s stood at St James’s Gate for three centuries. A once-in-a-lifetime experience, guests venture into the tunnels underground and then on to see the technology used at the largest Guinness production site in the world. In December 2023, the Home of Guinness was voted the World’s Leading Tourist Attraction 2023 and the World’s Leading Beer Tour Visitor Experience 2023 at the World Travel Awards. It’s welcomed high-profile guests from across the globe, with everyone from Queen Elizabeth II, Bill Clinton, Tom Cruise and Kylie Minogue to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, David Beckham and Hugh Jackman visiting over the years.
DON’T MISS Try the Connoisseur Experience, a tasting and storytelling journey, delving deeper into the origins and tastes of Guinness
