Haller Suites & AO Restaurant SOUTH TYROL, ITALY
At the end of a romantic vineyard road, just above the old town of Brixen in South Tyrol, Haller Suites & AO Restaurant welcomes guests with sweeping views over the Eisack Valley. Nestled in the sun- drenched hills of South Tyrol, this hideaway is surrounded by vineyard slopes, apple orchards and the crisp geometry of modern alpine architecture. The design frames the landscape, with clean
lines, natural materials and panoramic windows that blur the boundary between indoors and out. Where once stood a humble vineyard hut now rises a family-run retreat, seamlessly integrated into the terrain through terraced architecture that mirrors the vineyard itself. Like the vines, the 18 suites are set at different elevations. Over the decades, Haller has evolved with each
generation, its story deeply rooted in the terroir. Earlier generations laid the foundation, guided by a love of gastronomy, hospitality and the joy of bringing people together through food and wine. In 2019, daughter Teresa, together with her partner Levin and her parents, breathed new life into the house. Their shared vision — Life in the
Vineyard — became the heartbeat of Haller’s third generation. Using only what’s truly essential, they created a space for clarity, calm and connection. Throughout the day, travellers move between
nature and comfort — savouring organic breakfasts on private terraces, wandering the vineyard paths, or unwinding in the open, sunlit rooms. In the evening, AO Restaurant becomes the
soul of the house. Chef Levin and his team present poetic, nature-driven cuisine, sourcing ingredients from their own garden, the surrounding forests and trusted local producers. From wild herbs to hand-harvested vegetables, every plate tells a story of place and season — crafted for lovers of taste and tranquillity, where quality is found in the moments we savour and the company we cherish. At Haller, wine is more than a pairing — it’s a
passion. Sommelier Teresa pours wines full of stories — from their own Sylvaner and Kerner, grown just metres from the house to other regional gems. Every glass reflects a sense of place, connecting guests to the land, the people and the moment.
DON’T MISS Take the vineyard path up to a sunset aperitivo on your private terrace, followed by the tasting menu at AO Restaurant
