Saturday 5th January 2019 Will you go the distance
for the 700,000? O
ne in 100 people in the UK are on the autism spectrum. That
may mean someone close to you, someone you know, or someone you interact with in daily
life is
autistic. Between 1 and 7 April 2019, the National Autistic Society will be asking the public to lend their support during World Autism Awareness Week. From tackling its ‘7k for 700k’
challenge to taking to the streets on a London Night Walk or getting your school to sign up and be in with a chance of winning a visit from The Chase and I’m a celebrity star Anne Hegerty, anyone can be part of this positive change.
“The National Autistic Society urges everyone to run, swim, cycle or walk 7km during World Autism Awareness Week for the 700,000 autistic people living in the UK.”
The National Autistic Society
urges everyone to run, swim, cycle or walk 7km during World Autism Awareness Week for the 700,000 autistic people living in the UK. Why not do 7km each day, or do
all four activities? Your support will help transform
lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people.
