Saturday 5th January 2019

most breathtaking scenery

ake your spirits soar as you experience some of the UK’s next

year. Whether you want to trek Scotland’s legendary Great Glen Way or Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coastal Path, Parkinson’s UK is offering you the perfect opportunity to visit these two iconic locations. Hike the incredible Great Glen

Way or Causeway Coastal Path next year while raising money for people affected by Parkinson’s. With routes ranging from 13 to

32 miles, there’s a challenge for all levels of experience. You’ll take in forest

trails, coastal paths, stun-

ning beaches and exhilarating climbs, allowing you to experience these iconic places and take in the magnificent scenery that makes them so special.

Support all the way The Parkinson’s UK team will be on hand to support you every step of the way — with drinks and deli- cious food provided at rest stops, massages and showers provided at the finish line and a hot meal and all-important medal awarded to all participants, you’re guaranteed the ultimate event experience. The charity will also support you in the run-up to the event, sending out a fundraising pack, breathable t-shirt and a training plan for everyone taking part. These challenges are suitable for

all — individuals, couples or teams of family, friends and colleagues.

There truly is something for

everyone, whether you’re a nature lover, fan of myths and legends, seasoned hiker or admirer of stunning scenery. Every hour, two people in the UK

are told they have Parkinson’s. It is a brain condition that gets worse over time, and it can affect people of any age. There are over 40 symp- toms and there is currently no cure. All the money raised from the Causeway Coast Challenge and Great Glen Challenge will go towards finding a cure and improving life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
