It contains antimicrobial agents that keep the purifi er fresh between uses and fi lters impurities and toxins such as chemicals and heavy metals. The lifespan of the purifi er cartridge depends on the water quality, but if it’s clear (ie, not containing high levels of silt or sediment), it should last for about 300 uses.
