AVIS: DRIVING INNOVATION Avis is delighted to be a part of T

ravel Weekly’s 50th anniversary celebrations as sponsor of The £100k Pitch. The travel industry is well known for its entrepreneurs and it’s important to us to encourage future talent and innovation, both characteristics that resound with the Avis ethos. As one of the biggest

and best-known global brand names in travel, we have always known that to grow and thrive you must continue to evaluate your service and provide new solutions to changing consumer needs. To do this, the sector needs to introduce new players and new thinking, to constantly evolve and, yes, to innovate. Entrepreneurs often inject this new thinking and develop innovative mobility solutions. At Avis, we appreciate that making these ideas a reality often depends on that all-important kick-start investment, and we believe the industry must work together to nurture a successful travel sector. We hope this £100,000 investment will change the game for one lucky recipient and, in turn, the travel sector and the consumer.
