What’s on the menu for employers?


During Hospitality Works 2018 there were over half a million impressions to #JobsWithASmile content. We estimate that 3,000 employers also visited Jobcentres during the campaign to attend job fairs, deliver information sessions to jobseekers and promote opportunities! By working together with Jobcentre Plus you can find the right calibre of staff, just as one business did when recruiting for a hotel in Leith. They had advertised through other channels, but out of those invited for interview only five attended. They approached their local Jobcentre Plus, which arranged interviews, resulting in 12 jobseekers being offered employment. A hotel spokesperson said: “Without working with


you and the Jobcentre we would not have a full team like we do here at Elgin. Over the last couple of years we only have hired people that have been with us for work placement. We have a great working partnership with yourself and the team and I really do feel it is the way forward for recruitment.”
