Sheet metal rises to ventilator challenge
Part of the recent £1.5million investment cycle, the dedicated assembly unit within the Potters manufacturing facility is arranged into modular workstations and assembly lines capable of adapting to different sized assemblies and component needs. Being able to vary in batch sizes from one to several thousand was key to the success in delivering the demands placed on Potters by VentilatorChallengeUK in 2020. Supplying thousands of assembled mechanical chassis and associated components to manufacture ventilators to help the NHS in the fight against Covid, the company operated continuous manufacturing for several months. Anti-vandal switches have high current contacts
Among the highlights of the range of relays, displays and cable assemblies by RJS Electronics, visitors can see the RJS107 high current contact, and anti-vandal switches. They are available in 16, 19, 22 and 25mm versions. They are IP67- rated at 20A with single / bi-colour and RGB LED illumination, which can be a ring or power symbol. Visitors will also be able to see the RJS1N1LP series of low profile switches with a total height of 14mm (max). They are available in 12 to 30mm options with LED options including the RGB IP67 / IP68 rated model (pictured front). Other switches include the RJS SDE, a multi-purpose, low profile LCD encoder switch with full colour
programmable TFT screen. It is IP65-rated and supports Raspberry Pi for easy programming.
