NEW ITALIAN DISCOVERIES (Presented by Stephen Barret). With over 1500 indigenous grape varieties grown in Italy, Stephen Barrett, the South West’s foremost wine expert and writer will guide you through some of his favourites from the land of fresh crisp whites and rich fruity reds. £14.50
WINES OF CHILE. The hugely popular festival regular, Susy Atkins, Sunday Telegraph’s wine writer & wine editor of Delicious Magazine, will be taking a look at wines from Chile’s emerging regions, and at some of the most exciting grapes now coming through or being revived in this fascinating country. £14.50
200 YEARS OF A FAMOUS SHERRY PRODUCER (Presented by Tim Holt, Bodegas Barbadillo, Seville) Back again to the Festival this year to celebrate Barbadillo’s 200 year anniversary, is our good friend Tim Holt. He will be speaking about the history of this very successful Sherry House and describing the intricacies of making this wonderfully food friendly fortified wine which you will be tasting! There will be some complimentary nibbles to accompany the tasting. £14.50 (nibbles included)

SOUTH DEVON WINES - THE ENGLISH RENAISSANCE (Presented by Stephen Barrett, Sharpham Wines). We are thrilled to have a Sharpham Estate Winery stall at the Festival this year. You will be trying wines from grapes grown on the banks of the beautiful River Dart and Stephen will be explaining the current success of these English wines and how bright the future is looking for them on the world stage. £14.50

FROM HAMPSHIRE TO HAWKE’S BAY, A JOURNEY ACROSS THE WINE ROUTE (Presented by Will Lyons). Come and join us on Saturday lunchtime as we take a 12,000 mile journey down the wine route, discovering the wines, people and places along the way. In this hour long master- class Will Lyons will guide you through some of the most interesting and best value wines he has tasted from the South Downs of England, to the vineyards of Bordeaux, via the Continent of Africa ending up in a small valley he believes has the potential to be Europe’s next fine wine region. This one-off tasting will feature wines from England, France, Africa and New Zealand. £16.50

WINE STARS FROM THE USA(Sponsored by Sara Bangert). Sara Bangert is a great raconteur who will take you through this fun and interesting session, tasting the wines of California & Oregon amongst others to learn about how the winemakers deal with the hot climatic conditions and yet still produce stunningly fresh wines £14.50
THE GROWING CRAFT RUM SCENE (Presented by Dave Seear of Devon Rum). Our local craft rum producer is passionate about what they produce. They are on a mission to show everyone what is so amazing about great craft rum, share some samples and explain why you should definitely add rum to your drink’s repertoire! £14.50
ALL YEAR ROUND ROSÉ (Presented by Fiona Beckett). Learn about rosé and why these wines have so much more to offer than just for summer drinking. Expand your knowledge with the help of the talented and engaging Guardian wine writer Fiona Beckett, to appreciate the versatility and contrasting styles of rosé now available from across the globe. £14.50
REGIONAL FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS FROM AROUND EUROPE (Chefs Demo Tent, Royal Avenue Gardens) Great food & wine combinations to savour! Come & join in this lively evening session, when you will be sipping & sampling wines from 5 European countries which will be served with a delicious portion of a classic regional food.
