Dartmouth Food Festival - 2021 Festival Merchandise

The Merchandise team is very excited to be showcasing their new products for 2021 with another wonderful illustration kindly produced exclusively for the Dartmouth Food Festival by Simon Drew. This year we have introduced some new and very exciting products to whet your appetite and hopefully appeal to all including our canine pals.

The ever popular and collectable tea towels are again for sale with the new design along with oven gloves and our jute canvas bags. Also available are placemats, fine bone china mugs, wine cooler sleeves, magnetic book marks for the bookworms among us, nylon tote bags, face masks, collapsible dog bowls, doggie bandanas and more.

We are proud to again be featuring the Landworks Charity based at Dartington in Totnes who produce their fabulous handmade wooden chopping/cheese boards which make fantastic presents. This year the merchandise stand is located just inside the marquee on the embankment so do make a point of popping by to have a browse and say hello. You can find all the new products on our website page so do have a look before coming along this year.

Plastics Policy 2021

Once again, we continue our hard work to ensure that the Dartmouth Food Festival is single use plastic free. As per the last 2 years, we are banning the use of single use plastic throughout including; water bottles, sachets, straws, cups and plates etc and all exhibitors will be using alternatives including re- usable, compostable or biodegradable materials.

Clearly-signed recycle/waste bins, will be dotted around the Festival in a bid to ensure that waste is disposed of or recycled in the best manner and once again ‘Till the Coast is Clear’, a social enterprise focused on removing plastic from our shorelines by specialist boat, will, alongside Coastal Recycling be on hand to help us reduce waste, maximise recycling and reach our environmental goals. Be sure to check out ‘Till the Coast is Clear’ at our “Action Plastic” stand on Saturday and Sunday where they’ll be promoting plastic free initiatives.

PS. You can also refill your water bottles for free at the following local businesses: Café Alf Resco, The Royal Castle Hotel, The Dart Marina Hotel and Spa, Smith Street Deli and Jenny Koo’s Kitchen. See our map for details, visit www.refill.org.uk or look out for the Refill App sticker in their windows.
