Local, regional and nationally acclaimed chefs will be here on the Festival stage as well as in local restaurants and other Festival venues. It’s free entry to the Chefs’ Demonstration Kitchen so come early to get the best seats and ensure the best chance of tasting all the fabulous food being cooked.

Joyce Molyneux Honorary Patron Joyce Molyneux is a much loved life long patron of the Dartmouth Food Festival. Her first cookbook sold fifty thousand copies; her restaurant, the Carved Angel, which she owned and cooked in for twenty years, had a Michelin Star and a world-wide reputation.
Mitch Tonks Festival Advocate Award-winning food writer, restaurateur and fishmonger, Mitch Tonks can only be described as a seafood champion, recognised as one of the leading seafood chefs and restaurateurs in the UK. His restaurants include The Seahorse and Rockfish in Dartmouth.
Susy Atkins Susy began her career at Wine Magazine. She became co-editor of the bygone Which? Wine Guide in 1997 and seven editions since. Susy now writes a weekly column for the Sunday Telegraph, and is drinks editor of Delicious magazine. Author of 11 books on food and wine. Susy is well known for her many appearances over 12 years as wine expert on BBC1’s flagship cookery show Saturday Kitchen.

Serin Aubrey Serin started his time in Dartmouth opening the Anzac Street Bistro, a much loved and successful bistro in the centre of Dartmouth but after 11 successful years Serin decided to have a change and set about a new business with old friend Simon Entwistle and Dartmouth Fine Foods was born.
Sara Bangert Having had a varied career travelling the world in yachts, Sara discovered her love of wine. Taking on her second career in the wine industry Sara not only teaches WSET wine course to Diploma level but she is also UK Sales Director for a very successful independent wine merchant in Hampshire. She is a great raconteur and brings the story of wine alive.
Stephen Barrett As a long time member of the Circle of Wines Writers and the Association of Wines Educators, Stephen relishes the opportunity to deliver wine tastings and deliver wine events nationwide. He is also a member of the South West Wine School plus a consummate food and wine writer. Please find his work on social media via @bistrowineman
Jane Baxter One of South Devon’s best-known chefs. She worked in the River Café, London and Riverford Field Kitchen. Wrote the recipes for the two Riverford Farm Cook books - gaining two Guild of Food Writers awards. Written the “Leon” cook books. Runs “Wild Artichokes” with Sam Miller which specialises in events, and pop ups in South Devon and appears regularly on BBC Saturday Morning Kitchen with friend Matt Tebbutt.
Fiona Beckett Fiona Beckett is an award-winning food and wine writer, one of the UK’s leading experts on food and drink pairing, wine columnist for The Guardian and author of 25 books on food, wine and beer. She is currently a contributing editor to the wine magazine Decanter and wine writer for National Geographic Traveller Food and has her own website

Edward Benthall Edward is the Chair of the Eden Trust, the charity behind the Eden Project. He and his wife have a deep interest in sustainability. The retirement of their tenant farmer is prompting them to take a direct role in managing their farm. They are learning to manage the conflicting priorities of biodiversity, carbon, food production and public access.
