WE NEED YOU! Are YOU interested in learning NEW skills, whilst spending time in the beautiful Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve?
Would you like to: • Support a great cause? • Share your talent and energy with a group of caring individuals? • Learn new skills? • Meet like-minded people? • Have an incredible amount of fun whilst doing all of the above? At Slapton Ley we are offering the opportunity for you to discover new experiences and skills whilst volunteering on exciting projects around the national nature reserve. As volunteers you get to explore some of the most hidden areas of the nature reserve. Whatever time you can give will have a huge impact on the special wildlife which call the nature reserve home.
Imagine the experience • Planting trees and scrub creating new homes for rare Cirl Buntings • Monitoring butterflies through wildflower meadows • Helping to create rustic and natural benches, fences and signs for the many paths and trails • Sharing knowledge and experiences with the public on walks and events • Can you spare some time? We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people to join our team. Whatever your skills or amount of time you can volunteer, you can make a big difference.
