New Brocklebank Health Centre opened by Mayor of London
The Brocklebank Health Centre has been officially opened by the Mayor of London, bringing together a range of health services in one modern building. The new three-storey health centre has been developed as part of the wider Atheldene regeneration programme with NHS South West London, NHS Property Services, Brocklebank Group Practice, and Wandsworth Council. It brings together community dental services provided by King’s College Hospital, community health services provided by Central London Community Healthcare, and podiatry services provided by Cora Health. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: “I’m delighted that the new Brocklebank Health Centre has opened to provide a range of healthcare services to the community in Wandsworth. By bringing together general practice and community health teams, this state-of-the-art centre is making it easier for local people to access the care they need when they need it. CHP investment unlocks extra primary care appointments in Doncaster
Community Health Partnerships (CHP) is investing £996,715 to remodel The Stone Castle Centre in Doncaster. The investment – part of Wave One of the NHS Neighbourhood Rebuild Programme – will provide five clinical rooms for the Conisbrough Group Practice. As one of 16 NHS LIFT buildings included in Wave One, the project will make better use of existing space to support growing demand across the local community. Completion expected in early 2027. CHP is partnering with South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board,
the Conisbrough Group Practice, Doncaster Estates Partnership (LIFTCo), and Sewell Advisory to deliver the project. The Stone Castle Centre hosts a
range of services including two GP practices, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), eating disorder support, pharmacy provision, and community clinics delivered by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). Dr Jane Fitch, regional director
for North East at CHP, said: “This nearly £1m CHP investment in The Stone Castle Centre demonstrates how we can make better use of existing NHS estate to support local communities. By creating extra clinical space, it will enable more appointments, improve access, and support the delivery of joined-up care closer to where people live,

while enhancing the experience for patients and staff.” Kristen Rawson, business manager at Conisbrough Group Practice, added: “This project demonstrates our ongoing commitment to investing in our community and ensuring that patients receive the highest possible standard of care. Our vision is to create a true one-stop healthcare setting, where patients can access a wide range of services in one convenient location. The additional space will allow us to continue expanding our services, strengthen our multidisciplinary team, and further improve access to care for our growing patient population. It will also provide our nursing team with a dedicated, modern, and well- equipped first-floor clinical area, creating an environment where they can work collaboratively, support one another, and deliver the very best care to our patients.”
