The development is a long-term

property response to the Nine Elms Vauxhall Opportunity Area regeneration programme, which includes at least 18,500 new homes. Amanda Challis, senior estates manager at NHSPS, said: “This new health centre is an important investment in local healthcare, giving patients access to a modern, purpose- built health centre that provides a high-quality environment for patients, staff, and local services. “Through collaboration with our

us greater flexibility to expand the services we offer and work alongside other local health and care organisations, helping more patients

access the care they need closer to home.” Andrew Bland, chief executive of NHS South West London, said: “Sleaford Street Health Centre is an important investment in local healthcare for people in Nine Elms, Battersea and the surrounding area. “This new facility provides modern space for GP services and community healthcare, helping residents access high-quality care closer to home. New Family Hub opens at Lakeside Health Centre

A new Family Hub has officially opened at Lakeside Health Centre, London, bringing a range of services and assistance for children, young people, and families closer to home. The new hub forms part of the

Families First Programme and Future Bexley Programme and provides an accessible space within a Community Health Partnerships (CHP) building where local families can access Early Help services, advice, and guidance from a range of organisations and professionals. Services available through the

hub include parenting programmes, baby and toddler activities, infant feeding advice, school readiness guidance, and access to professionals who can help families navigate different services and get the advice and assistance they need The opening of the family hub highlights the flexibility and adaptability of NHS LIFT buildings and illustrates how CHP are working closely with partners to create spaces that support healthier communities. Siobhan Harper, regional

director – London, Community Health Partnerships: “The opening of the Lakeside Family Hub is a great example of how the NHS LIFT estate can support the delivery of joined-up services in the heart of communities. By bringing a range of support for children, young people, and families together in one building, CHP, and our partners, are helping to make it easier for people to access the help they need, when they need it, closer to home.”

Councillor Caroline Newton, Cabinet Member for Finance, Corporate Services & Education,

by Somerset NHS Foundation Trust as part of its long-standing managed service partnership with Ergéa UK, and forms part of a national programme to increase diagnostic capacity, support earlier diagnosis. Offering MRI and CT capacity,

as well as Somerset’s first urology investigation unit, the centre is expected to provide almost 25,000 additional scans every year for the people of Somerset. Health Minister Karin Smyth

said: “The NHS should fit around people’s lives, not the other way around. This brand-new, state- of-the-art centre for Bridgwater is going to offer convenient tests, checks, and scans, without a trip to hospital. “Community Diagnostic

Centres like this one are a vital part of how we’re rebuilding the NHS and getting people seen on time again. More of these will soon be opening across the country through our £237m investment in new, expanded, and enhanced centres just like this.” Martin Wilkinson, director

of performance and delivery at NHS England South West, said: “It is great that this latest community diagnostic centre in Bridgwater is now open, offering a range of diagnostics closer to home for many people in Somerset. “We have worked hard

with providers and integrated care boards across the region over the past few years to build CDCs across the south west so that people can get an earlier diagnosis and reduce waiting lists.”
