SUPPLIERS’ DAY 19 AMBITION / FLEXIBILITY / PASSION / INNOVATION

Bionos Biotech.

Bio3D Structured-light Scanner is a new 3D digitalization system based on structured-light fringe projection, working at 290 images/second, reducing the effects of movement and getting a higher resolution that current systems in the market. 3D information obtained is analyzed with specific software developed internally to assess different biomarkers: Wrinkles, rugosity, neck jowls and sagging, face oval remodeling, acne, eye bags, etc. Bio Blue Light Scanner is an innovative technology with a high-resolution camera and a diffuse and indirect lighting system, emitting at 470 nm. This wavelength has low penetration in the skin and specific related software has been developed to measure different parameters: Skin tone, dark spots, pores, dark circles under the eye, hair graying, hair growth, etc. The worldwide acknowledged open chamber measurement method of the Tewameter has reached a new level: Thirty pairs of sensors giving 15 times more information than the previous two pairs; high amount of data for each single measurement supplying extremely accurate, reproducible and quick results for the first time for skin and ambience above the probe. Visit Courage+Khazaka’s stand (1549) and explore new exciting parameters: l Local skin energy balance: for the first time it is possible to separately measure the transepidermal heat loss by heat diffusion from the body and evaporation cooling through water vapor.

l Water vapor concentration: the actual drive of TEWL (skin and ambience)

l Relative Humidity of skin and ambience Croda Inc’s expertise and well-known brands, Croda, Sederma and Crodarom (booths 903 and 1102) enable them to work with customers to create new, innovative ingredients providing differentiation in the marketplace. The beauty industry is evolving, and Croda recognize the importance of sustainable beauty and a constant need to formulate with wellness and the environment in mind. Croda will promote their sustainable, clean beauty solutions including actives, mineral-based sunscreen filters and vegan suitable ingredients.

Using the new MultiScan MS20 from DataPhysics Instruments (Charlotte, NC), stability and aging characteristics of emulsions & dispersions can be performed automatically and operator-independently from +4°C to +80°C. By measuring light- energy transmission through the samples and also the sample’s backscattering rate using an NIR-emitting LED source, behaviors such as phase separations, sedimentation, creaming, and agglomeration as well as the position- dependent change of particles and drop sizes of multi-phase systems can be easily and accurately monitored.

The modular MS20 is scalable and allows for connection and simultaneous analysis from one to as many as six samples via fully-independent, temperature- controlled sample scanning towers.
