ECA awards two EDP 2022 Scholarships
Malta - Merkur eSolutions opens Malta office Merkur eSolutions Malta recently celebrated the opening of its new office in the Plaza Business Center in Sliema, Malta. Numerous representatives of various interest groups and service providers such as the Malta Gaming Authority, Finductive Ltd. or the iGaming Academy, attended the opening ceremony together with Merkur eSolutions employees and Gauselmann Group executives.

UK - SIS extends NetBet partnership SIS has extended its partnership with NetBet to deliver horse racing content to the Malta-based operator via its 24/7 Live Betting Channels. SIS has been a trusted partner of NetBet in recent years, initially distributing data for its live UK, Irish and North American greyhound racing, before integrating live streams through the company’s Watch and Bet model, which enables bettors to view racing content before placing a bet.
NetBet customers now have access to SIS’s premium and exclusive live UK and Irish horse racing, as well as international horse racing from Canada, Dubai, Germany, Hungary, Latin America, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and the US. Te European Casino Association has awarded two successful candidates for this year’s ECA Diversity Scholarship, sponsored by AGEM, Clarion and the UNLV.
Now in its fifth year, the ECA Diversity Scholarship has named Kirsi Karola Lagus, Veikkaus, Finland and Celine Alberola, Casino de Monte-Carlo, Monaco, as the successful candidates who will participate in-person at the renowned Executive Development Programme, held at Lake Tahoe, US.
Te EDP is a pre-eminent gaming leadership course, the brainchild of a partnership between the UNLV International Gaming Institute and the University of Nevada, Reno College of Business and Extended Studies. Te ECA Diversity Scholarship covers the full cost of the programme, which this year returns to the week-long in-person event staged in Nevada.
