The MV-6 OMNI con- tains MIRTEC’s exclusive OMNI-VISION® 3D inspection technology, which combines its 15 MP CoaXPress camera technology with a digital tri-fre- quency moiré 3D system to provide precision inspec- tion of SMT devices on finished PCB assemblies. The 15 MP camera system is designed and
manufactured by MIRTEC for use with its complete product range of inspection equipment. The compa- ny’s digital tri-frequency moiré technology provides 3D inspection of devices up to 1 in. (25 mm) in height, using a total of four programmable digital moiré projectors. This system yields precise height measurement data that is used to detect lifted com- ponents and lifted leads, as well as measure solder volume post-reflow.
