tech.com MSS Introduces Rotary Solenoids
VAN NUYS, CA — Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS) has introduced the R-10-200-CWM se- ries of clockwise, forward shaft extension ro- tary solenoids. Available with 18 different AWG winding configurations, these compact, Made in the U.S., rotary solenoids enable en- gineers to match torque, current, and duty cy- cle requirements to their specific application. The R-10-200-CWM Series measures
just 2 in. (50.8 mm) in diameter and 1 in. (26.42 mm) in length, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. Mounting options include either 8-32 UNC or M4 × 0.7 thread- ed studs, each 0.34 in. (8.64 mm) long on a 1.1 in. (26.97 mm) bolt circle. The forward shaft provides 40° of clockwise rotation with a 0.71 in. (18.03 mm) shaft exten- sion. The front shaft end is ser-
Raltron Expands RSF Series of SAW Filters
MIAMI, FL — Raltron has ex- panded its portfolio of RSF series surface acoustic wave (SAW) fil- ters optimized for GPS, Wi-Fi, and ISM band applications in space- constrained, high-performance de- signs. The RSF family delivers low insertion loss, low amplitude ripple, and high out-of-band rejec- tion in miniature chip-scale pack-
rated to provide a secure grip for the at- tached component. The R-10-200-CWM series is available
with winding sizes from 20 to 37 AWG. Selecting the appropriate winding allows users to optimize duty cycle, operating cur- rent, and output torque for their application. For example, a unit rated for 11W at 100% duty cycle produces a starting torque of 11 oz- in., while a unit rated for 110 W at 10% duty
cycle delivers 49 oz-in. of starting torque. Contact: Magnetic Sensor Systems, 6901
