October, 2024 Small TFT displays for Raspberry PI Zero

SAINT PAUL, MN — DISPLAY VISIONS is offering a cost-effec- tive adapter board for the Raspberry Pi Zero. This allows for the use of 1.5 to 3.5 in. (3.8 to 8.9 cm) TFT displays as screens for the popular single- board computer. The Raspberry Pi Zero

miniature computer is even better to use with a small TFT display. DISPLAY VISIONS is therefore offering an adapter which is plugged into the GPIO connector on the Raspberry Zero. Full use can be made of the optional touch function on

these displays (TFT015, TFT020, TFT028 and TFT035 series). A corresponding Raspberry

code to operate the displays as a screen for any application is available to download free of charge. The adapter board for the

display can be mounted in a remote position for especially compact applications. The con- nection is established using a flexible FPC cable in the desired length. Due to their low energy consumption, the TFT displays for the Raspberry Pi Zero can also be operated in

WürthPresents Transformers for Power Line Communication

MUNICH, GERMANY — Communication between charg- ing stations and electric vehicles via an interface compliant with EN ISO 15118 is a fundamental requirement for the public charg- ing infrastructure. Würth Elektronik now offers the WE- PLC product series of high-qual- ity SMT transformers for Power Line Communication (PLC). The new Würth Elektronik

PLC transformers are ideal for galvanic isolation of the PLC sys- tem from the power supply. They are designed for data signals between 500 kHz and 30 MHz and reliably isolate the low-volt- age range from the high-voltage range.

The WE-PLC product series

offers an exceptionally high test voltage of 4,500 V rms for trans- formers of this package size. Due

to their high-quality design, they offer significantly lower leakage inductance than competing prod- ucts. The components ensure good magnetic coupling for pre- cise data transmission. The WE-PLC transformers

are available with turns ratios of 1:1:1 and 1:4:3 for EV charging and AC interfaces for grid com- munication. The operating volt- age is up to 250 VAC. The PLC transformers are now available from stock without a minimum order quantity. Free samples are

available for developers. Contact: Würth Elektronik
