HALFMOON, NY — PVA is now offering its latest advancements in conformal coating, dispensing robotics and manual systems. At The ASSEMBLY Show 2024, PVA will showcase the Delta 8 four-axis conformal coating and dispense robot, a versatile and highly precise system designed for complex coating and dispens- ing applications. This system will be equipped with the ES ultra fine

DELO Intros Adhesive for Bonding Voice Coil

Motors SUDBURY, MA — Voice coil mo- tors (VCMs) have been an impor- tant part of smartphone camera assemblies over the last decade, enabling features such as image stabilization and auto focus. DELO presents DELO DUAL- BOND LT2221 as a universal ad- hesive for the over 50 bonding tasks in VCM manufacturing. It needs less energy than compet- ing products to create an effec- tive bond, making minimal im- pact on the temperature-sensi- tive substrates used in VCMs. VCMs are incredibly small

motors, with components measur- ing at mere millimeters and most- ly made of temperature-sensitive materials. Assembling them comes with many stringent tem- perature and quality require- ments, making it important find- ing the right adhesive to establish these bonds. DELO DUALBOND LT2221 is a dual-curing adhesive whose highlight is its low curing temperature, making it a perfect adhesive solution for many con- sumer electronics applications. This low-viscosity adhesive

is able to create very fine bond- lines, which serves as beneficial for bonding components as small as those in VCMs. With a com- pression shear strength of up to 8 MPa on LCP, it is as strong of an adhesive as it is versatile. DELO DUALBOND LT2221

enables extremely fast assembly processes. When using high-in- tensity DELOLUX curing lamps, it can be light-fixed in just 0.5 seconds, a key benefit given the many bonding tasks in a VCM. Heat-curing of all shadowed areas for achieving final strength

can be done all at once. Contact: DELO Industrial
