October, 2024 Industrial 3 kW Power Supplies from TDK
NEPTUNE, NJ — TDK Corpor - ation has introduced the 3,000W TDK-Lambda brand HWS3000 programmable AC-DC power sup- plies in a 10.6 x 5.9 x 2.4 in. (270 x 150 x 61 mm) case size. The nom- inal output voltages (24, 48, 60, or 130V) and output currents are fully programmable (CV/CC) from zero up to their maximum rating. The HWS3000 series is available with an 85 to 265 VAC single- phase or three-phase 170 to 265 VAC input. Output programming can be
achieved using a serial RS485 interface (MODBus protocol) or analog 1 to 5V or 4 to 20 mA sig-
nals. These very compact products also feature a variable speed fan with typically 45 dB audible noise at less than 70 percent load, and a 77°F (25°C) ambient temperature.
The power supplies can be used in a wide range of applications, including test and measurement, semiconductor fab rication, RF amplifiers, laser machining, print- ing, and industrial equipment. The HWS3000G can deliver

1,500W with a low-line single- phase input voltage (85 to 132 VAC) and 3,000W at high-line (170 to 265 VAC). The HWS - 3000GT provides 3,000 watts from a three-phase input voltage of 170 to 265 VAC. Four nominal output voltages, 24V, 48V, 60V, and 130V, can be programmed to provide 0 to 28.8, 0 to 52.8, 0 to 66V, and 0 to 156V.
Up to three units can be con-
nected in series, or ten units in parallel. The output voltage slew rate can be digitally programmed and monitored, along with infor- mation regarding cumulative operating time, fault log, and product identification informa- tion. Digital programming can be performed without turning the
power supply on. Contact: TDK-Lambda

Solutions TORRINGTON, CT — Dymax is presenting curing materials and equipment designed for the evolv- ing needs of the avionics, electron- ics, and industrial sectors at SMTA International 2024. At this year’s event, Dymax
will feature solutions tailored for critical PCB-level electronics applications, including dual-cure 9771 low-outgassing conformal coating, which meets Mil-Std- 883 Method 5011 for aerospace, defense, and unmanned systems technologies. The company will display
multipurpose PCBs with staking materials, flexible encapsulants, and board-level maskants, along with high-performance confor- mal coatings like 9483, built for heat, chemical, and corrosion resistance, and 9451 black con- formal coating, for shielding sen- sitive circuitry. Dymax will demonstrate the
dispense of 9-7004 PCB maskant and 7501-T-UR-SC dielectric pro- tective coating for battery mod- ules and curing with a BlueWave® high-intensity UV/LED light-cur- ing system powered by the MX- MIM. Engineers working on elec- tric vehicle technologies can view a battery module shell to see the practical applications of Dymax materials. Electronic Coating Technol -
