A Community Divided
Imagine you were to gather a sample group of Christians from all over the globe. Though drawn from a variety of different cultures, all of them would be united by their faith in Jesus Christ. However, you would soon notice that they each expressed this faith in different ways. This is because, over the centuries, groups of Christians have disagreed with and diverged from one another. This has led them to set up different traditions.
Christianity is divided into four traditions:
¢ Catholic ¢ Orthodox ¢ Anglican ¢ Protestant
Within each of these traditions there are different denominations.
