pathways to world-class opportunities
C
Central State University knows that the value of spending time outside of the U.S. to study cannot be overstated. There is no better window into another culture than to immerse oneself in it.
Central State University’s Center for Global Education offers a variety of programs designed to take students out of their comfort zones and into opportunities to earn college credit somewhere new, with a different language and outlook.
Through the University’s affiliate programs, students in good academic standing can study in countries all over the world, or even at sea. They can stay for the length of a break, semester, or a year, depending on their program.
The Center for Global Education also offers faculty- led study abroad programs. These instructor-curated experiences allow students to take CSU courses abroad. Imagine
taking 8 Scientific
Detection of Fakes & Forgeries in Art & History in Egypt or Introduction to Ayurveda in India. Faculty-led programs
also allow students to travel to Ghana, China, Mexico, and Guyana.
There are also many opportunities for graduate students to work or study in other countries. CSU grads can teach English overseas, volunteer for the Peace Corps, or participate in a number of programs offered by the Center for Global Education.
Students who can’t afford to travel to another country may apply for several different fellowships and scholarships designed to help get them into their desired program. While studying
abroad, students
may reside in a residence hall, apartment, or with a host family.
International students also come from all over the world to matriculate at Central State University. Students travel from their homes to have the privilege of learning from our world-class faculty. Part-time, on-campus employment is offered for those international students
who wish to
work during their time at Central State.
