The athletic improvements are just one part of the renaissance ongoing on the Central State University campus. This fall, a grand opening of the University’s new Residential/Academic/ Wellness Center featuring a 250-bed, apartment-style, residence hall is scheduled to take place.

The continued growth of the University also has led to the addition of several new degree programs that include Exercise Science, Agriculture Education, and Sustainable Agriculture. Now in its third year, the College of Business Summer Banking Institute, a workforce training program, has also grown to 30 students.


By incorporating these improvements, the University continues to evolve to meet the demands of an ever-changing workforce and student body on the path to excellence.
