ECO-UNDERLAY FLOORS THE NATION WITH EXCLUSIVE RETAIL
PARTNERSHIP An eco-engineered flooring underlay, which is made using recycled PET plastic bottles and other single-use plastics, has announced an exclusive partnership with a major UK flooring retailer.
Manufactured by Texfelt, SpringBond will now be available at retail giant Flooring Superstore – which will offer the eco- friendly underlay both online and instore.
Usually available in 9mm or 11mm depths, Texfelt has manufactured a new 10mm variation of SpringBond exclusive to the flooring retailer, which will be uniquely known as Ocean 10. The thickness of the underlay not only gives it sound-proofing properties and exceptional heat insulation, but also offers superb comfort underfoot.
With more than 85% of the underlay made from recycled plastics, Ocean 10 is an ideal option for homeowners who want to make more environmentally- conscious lifestyle choices.
The underlay is fully recyclable at the end of its usable life – creating a closed-loop manufacturing cycle – and contains no harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds), promoting better air quality around the home.
Ocean 10 is already available in 12 Flooring Superstore locations, with additional stores due to stock the underlay in the coming months.

As with the Aim High range, High Life provides a durable, stain-resistant finish which is both bleach-cleanable and durable enough to cope with the most demanding of households.

SpringBond is designed and manufactured in Yorkshire and offers maximum performance with minimal environmental impact. It is a partner of non-profit organisation Plastic Oceans, which addresses plastic pollution.

Priced and aimed at the economical consumer sector, both ranges have a competitive price bracket that provides retailers with an excellent offering for consumers where value for money and affordability is a key buying factor.

Aim High and High Life carpets are created with a tufted 5/32” loop pile in StainSafe polypropylene with Texflor felt-backing. Both come in a four-metre width and six colourways. Aim High has a 440 g/m² pile weight and 5mm pile height, while High Life offers a 520 g/ m² pile weight and 6mm pile height.
