Proud past, bright future Method’s bins encourage effective source separation increasing recycling, thus reducing the ecological and financial costs of waste disposal. This has seen the simple recycling solution incorporated into organisations that seek to attain certification such as CarbonZero or to increase the rating of the building for an independent rating system such as BREEAM.
Award-winning design Here at Method, we have continued to develop products and accessories from customer feedback and insights. Precyclers are temporary desktop storage for paper, waste and recycling before they are deposited into the communal bins. The HD connector has been engineered to seamlessly hold the bins in place, particularly in high traffic areas. Bins can be arranged back-to-back, in a line, or mounted to a wall with this tool and larger stations can be created easily using the HD Connector Expansion Kit.
These and other innovations with our design focus have attracted significant, continued industry attention. We won three Design Institute of New Zealand Best Design Awards for our 60-litre office recycling bins, recyclable packaging and our new website.
Method have twice won the Deloitte Fast 50 “One to Watch” award, in the Rising Star category, for the Wellington region and was a finalist in the NZ Innovation Awards for Emerging NZ Innovator and for Innovation in Sustainability and Clean-Tech.
Earlier this year, we won the Best Emerging Business award at the ExportNZ Awards, and in November were finalists in the 2018 New Zealand International Business Awards for Best Emerging Business; where we were recognised as highly commended.
