MAG wins prestigious business award
MAG Laundry Equipment has celebrated its most successful year on record, following a 25% YOY revenue increase and has secured the company a prestigious SME Business Elite Award.
Receiving the award for the Best Commercial & Industrial Laundry Equipment Provider, MAG’s growth and financial performance satisfied the judging criteria, which focused on product development, customer satisfaction, business growth and expansion.
MAG made several key appointments this year including an additional director to guide and scale the business through its expansion. This has led to operational improvements and efficient resource allocation within the business, enabling MAG to break into new markets while continuing to support care homes, hotels and on-premise laundry rooms across the UK.
To accommodate growth, MAG is set to relocate to a larger facility, uniting its smaller sites into a single, central hub. The new location in West Yorkshire will significantly expand production and operational capacity, while also offering space for a custom-built visitor centre designed to
showcase MAG’s industrial laundry machines and provide live demonstrations for customers.
Managing Director, Mark Dennis, said: “It’s an exciting time for us and the SME award recognises the hard work and dedication of the entire MAG team.
“This year alone we have achieved so much, having experienced a record-breaking 12 months while sustaining year-on-year growth, every year, since incorporation. My vision for MAG is to become the UK’s leading supplier of energy-efficient commercial laundry equipment and we are now in the perfect position to expand our market share and build this presence. We look forward to what the future holds for the business and the new opportunities we can unlock.”

skyVac team raises money for charity
skyVac’s Andy Whiting and Mark Nice have accomplished an incredible feat, completing five physically demanding challenges in just five days, and raising over £8,500 for Cancer Research UK and Northampton-based autism charity, En-Fold.
Mark and Andy kayaked the length of Windermere, cycled a demanding 35-mile route around Coniston Water, whitewater rafted through Snowdonia, flew on the fastest zip line in the world and then finished off atop Snowdon (Yr Wfddfa). From early dawn starts to gruelling workouts, the duo pushed their limits each day, testing their stamina and determination.
Of the challenges, Director Mark said: “My hips will never be the same after that kayak and the cycle ride was super tough, but knowing we were raising money made every challenge worth it. It all came together on the last day when friends and family joined us on our mountain climb.”
Meanwhile, skyVac founder Andy added: “We set out on these challenges on what would’ve been my mum’s birthday, I lost her to cancer some years ago now, so to have raised so much money through these challenges feels honestly incredible. We’re so thankful.”
As well as raising money for national charity Cancer Research UK, Andy and Mark raised funds for En-Fold,
which supports people with autism through advice, signposting and day-to-day support. To learn more about each charity, Mark and Andy’s adventures and of course to donate, visit the website below.
