How do we do that?
Often standards have been dictated by a small group of people or an organisation, with very little monitoring, meaning once published there is no real-time knowledge of how they are received or progressing. Laying out, and publishing a set of skills standards is one thing, a good thing, but making sure they are adopted and deployed ‘as standard’ is very different. Hence, most published standards have failed to gain traction, across the sector, effectively.
UhUb and its Community takes a different approach.
UhUb’s training is creating a more effective result. We believe the only way to create and maintain standards is business by business, through Whole-Workforce training.
Why Whole-Workforce training?
Whole-Workforce training ensures everyone receives the same basic training, so a standard in knowledge, productivity, abilities, protection, and information is created across your business, and this can be demonstrated through live data reporting.
From there you have a solid foundation on which to create and deploy any other development training such as Client Specific, UhUb Supervisor & company career path training, on to Leadership.
What do we mean by Knowledge Networks?
Knowledge Networks go further and are deployed business to business across the supply chain enabling Training In, and Training Out.
Our client’s commitment to their service users is that every operative will be trained to the same standard. To achieve this, they can insist sub-contracting companies also deploy UhUb, ensuring training is consistent even if operatives are sub-contracted (training out). Also, they can ensure that any 3rd party, social, product & equipment, site specific, or other training from any source is made available to those who need it (training in).

As supply chains become more complex and less linear, standardised, demonstrable Knowledge Networks will become more important.
In 2021 UhUb’s community of UK businesses increased with 228,161 lessons carried out across the community’s 11,364 learners, that’s 32.81% more lessons than 2020, an indicator of the impact we are seeing Whole-Workforce training and Knowledge Networks create.
