TOMORROW’S PRODUCTS FIBRE REALLY DOES MATTER
INVISTA’s Antron® carpet fibre has released the latest edition of its Fibre Matters publication, which highlights many of the unique performance attributes that are exclusively available to carpets bearing the Antron® name.
Helping designers and specifiers to make an informed carpet specification decision, the new Fibre Matters publication, available as a digital download from the fibre specialist’s website
www.antron.eu, provides an indispensable insight
into the performance of Antron® fibres.
“It is often easy to overlook the importance of fibre selection, but it is the DNA of every great carpet and so should be one of the first things any specifier or designer considers,” explained Regional Marketing Manager, Neil Maguire. “Antron comes in different cross sections, each with attributes that can have an impact on the suitability of a carpet for a given space, so being correctly informed is vital in maximising performance and longevity. The latest edition of Fibre Matters aims to achieve this
while remaining easy to comprehend, so that it can be turned to whenever the need arises.”
Fibre Matters includes information on Antron® carpet fibre, Antron® Lumena™, Antron® Legacy™ and Antron® Brilliance® fibres, explaining benefits such as soil hiding, light and colour fastness and resistance to the signs of wear. Hard copies can be obtained from Antron, or digital editions downloaded from the website at
www.antron.eu.

STYLISH DESIGN AND STUNNING RESULTS
Industrial Cleaning Equipment Ltd (ICE) has recently added the LS50 Hybrid Battery Wide Vac to its product range. This fantastic new product is 100% designed and constructed in Italy, has a wide reach and the capacity to clean 16,000 sq.ft. per hour. However, its size and
cleaning power does not mean that manoeuvrability is compromised. It is light in weight, with wide body frame rotation allowing it to clean under hard to reach areas such as desks or tables and be transported to different locations easily and quickly.
The brush roller and
suction nozzle, which is self-adjusting, are quick and easy to change, without the need for tools, enabling the LS50 to operate on any type of carpet. Once the 1.5 hour battery life has been used, the 15 metre power cable allows continuous use in the traditional manner.
Rob McInally, Sales Director for ICE, said: “The LS50 is a welcome addition to ICE’s already impressive range of innovative floor cleaning machines.”
